About Us

Ichtus Seafront B & B is situated in the heart of the Garden Route in South Africa. We are in a little picturesque village called Sedgefield, where we run a small intimate seafront guesthouse. We pride ourselves in our personal touch and attention to detail to make your stay worthy of your fondest memories.

Ichtus means ‘fish’ in ancient Greek. We are here to help you fish for joy, dreams and peace! We strive to live in harmony with the ocean and our pristine surroundings. We have created a space where our guests can enjoy the vast ocean views, go for long walks on the beach which is on our doorstep and gaze at our magnificent stars on deckchairs at night.

Accommodation

Ichtus Bed and Breakfast is a beautiful, peaceful house built on a dune hilltop. A sea view can be enjoyed from all its spaces.

Room 1

Room 1 is an ideal honeymooners' room with privacy, a large balcony separate from other guests and an uninterrupted view of the ocean. It has a queen sized bed, an en suite bathroom with a bathtub overlooking the sea and a shower. There is a television, Wifi, coffee and tea amenities, bathrobes, hairdryer and bathroom amenities included. The room has a small fridge and mineral water is complimentary to the room.

Incredibly beautiful location overlooking the beach! We only had one night here but I would have loved to stay a week! The rooms all face the sea where we enjoyed a spectacular sunset.
